The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
Corporate Technology teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
As a Senior Java Applications Developer, the candidate will perform various activities in support of the platforms.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Support the application by participating in requirements gathering, functional specifications review, and completion of technical design
  • Build activities relative to developing the application, and provide support during all phases of testing
  • Be involved in all phases of software development
  • Work closely with Business Analyst's, business partners and infrastructure team in order to meet our client's need
  • Support the application by maintaining existing code on a day to day basis by assisting the operate team
Selected individual will be integral in driving firm-wide initiative - modernizing technology delivery through “T-shaped” (multi-skilled) workforce, bringing cloud-ready design, Agile practices, tool standardization and automated delivery to the client & business partner.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE Technology
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle database / PL/SQL
  • Experience in Hadoop ecosystem and development
  • Experience with Spring framework (core & MVC)
  • 3+ years of working experience in Ext-JS framework or similar JS framework
  • Worked with cloud technology and familiar with cloud core principles
  • Exposure to micro service architecture
  • Experience with ORM tools
  • Familiar with various design patterns and technique
  • Worked with distributed team across the globe.
  • Well versed with Agile Delivery Model and processes
  • Strong oral and written communications skill
